What it is used for and who can use it:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Subordinate Work visa allows a foreign national to enter and reside in Italy to carry out a dependent work activity, whether hired by a Physical or Legal Person residing in Italy.<\/p>\n

The procedure begins in Italy, where the same Physical or Legal Person applies to the relevant Italian territorial body for the respective work authorization (Nulla Osta). Once the competent Italian entity has issued the AUTHORIZATION<\/strong>, the worker residing in Panama or in one of the accreditation states can apply for a visa.<\/p>\n

The visa can be applied for three months before the date of travel and up to 1 month before the date of travel.<\/p>\n

Type<\/strong> of<\/strong> visa<\/strong>: “D” long-stay visa (more than 90 days up to 365 days).<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>: Must be submitted following the strict order below:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. National visa application form<\/a> duly completed in all fields and signed.<\/li>\n
  2. Two photographs <\/strong>(3,5 cm x 4 cm), white background in color (identical and recent), one of which must be pasted to the form in the corresponding box.<\/li>\n
  3. Valid passport<\/strong> (valid for at least 3 months beyond the duration of the visa) with at least two free pages and a plain copy of <\/strong>the passport <\/strong>(only the page of the passport containing the holder’s personal information).<\/li>\n
  4. Payment of consular fees in cash (payable on the day of the appointment, see Consular Fees Table<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  5. ID card<\/strong> – for foreigners c\u00e9dula de extranjer\u00eda or carne de residencia<\/em>, valid (in both cases only an enlarged, legible copy).<\/li>\n
  6. Original<\/strong> and<\/strong> copy<\/strong> of<\/strong> the<\/strong> “Nulla<\/strong> Osta”<\/strong> issued by the Prefecture – S.U.I. (Single Desk for Immigration).<\/li>\n
  7. Copy<\/strong> of<\/strong> the<\/strong> promise<\/strong> of<\/strong> employment<\/strong> or<\/strong> contract<\/strong> of<\/strong> employment<\/strong> in <\/strong>Italy <\/strong>signed by the parties.<\/li>\n
  8. Booking<\/strong> a <\/strong>one-way flight <\/strong>with final destination Italy. NOTE<\/strong>: The air reservation must be made directly by the airline or a travel agency in the country of residence or directly in Italy (reservations made online are not accepted). The air reservation must be in the name of the applicant.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    NOTES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • The procedure is strictly personal. The<\/u> Embassy<\/u> has<\/u> not<\/u> authorized<\/u> any agency or intermediary to apply for the visa<\/u>.<\/li>\n
    • Please note that the Visa Office cannot receive the visa application until the<\/strong> Embassy<\/strong> receives<\/strong> the<\/strong> Nulla<\/strong> Osta<\/strong> transmitted<\/strong> by<\/strong> the<\/strong> U.I. <\/strong>Office (Prefecture in Italy).<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Please note that the “Nulla Osta<\/em>” is valid for 6 months <\/strong>(from the date of issuance of the U.I.) and must be used before it expires<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Failure to submit any of the above documents may result in the rejection of the visa application at the counter. The Embassy of Italy reserves the right to request such additional documentation as it deems necessary through the document called the “Rejection <\/em>Notice<\/em>,” which may be issued a few days after reviewing the visa application.<\/li>\n
    • Since the visa is a concession, even if all the required documents are submitted, it can be granted or In the latter case, a “Denial <\/em>Order<\/em>” will be issued.<\/li>\n
