(Register of Italian Residents Abroad) are made directly on the portal &#8220;Fast It&#8221; Consular Services Online after registering at the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/serviziconsolarionline.esteri.it\/\">serviziconsolarionline<\/a><br \/>\nThis system allows a simplified and faster registration to A.I.R.E., responding to the needs of Italians living abroad.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\" data-start=\"104\" data-end=\"180\">Users are advised to <strong data-start=\"125\" data-end=\"177\">pay particular attention to the following points<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"184\" data-end=\"276\">Creating an account on <strong data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"218\">FAST IT<\/strong> does <strong data-start=\"224\" data-end=\"273\">NOT automatically register or update A.I.R.E.<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"184\" data-end=\"276\">The data entered for registration must <strong data-start=\"318\" data-end=\"335\">MATCH EXACTLY<\/strong> the information shown on the Italian passport or identity card;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"184\" data-end=\"276\">If an Italian passport is not available, the data must <strong data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"476\">MATCH EXACTLY<\/strong> the information on the birth certificate issued by the relevant Italian municipality;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"184\" data-end=\"276\">Dates must be entered in <strong data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"627\">European format: DAY\/MONTH\/YEAR<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"108\" data-end=\"127\"><strong data-start=\"76\" data-end=\"90\">Attention:<\/strong> Persons who have already registered with the AIRE through FAST IT in a consular district other than Panama and wish to transfer their AIRE residence to Panama must keep their FAST IT account in order to allow automatic notification of the transfer to the previous office.<br data-start=\"362\" data-end=\"365\" \/>In this case, it will be necessary to change the account\u2019s consular office and request registration with the AIRE. The AIRE update will no longer be valid in this situation, as it only applies to changes within the same country and not to transfers abroad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>IMPORTANT<\/strong>: Every Italian <strong>ADULT<\/strong> citizen can apply for <strong>AIRE<\/strong> registration for him and for children living together under the age of Italian citizenship. If, however, the registration of one of the members of the family whose civil status records (births of minor children) have not been previously recorded should also be required, it will be necessary to regularize the position in advance by following the instructions in the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/ambpanama.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/stato-civile\/\">Civil Status<\/a>&#8220;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"113\" data-end=\"131\">Citizens\u00a0<strong data-start=\"142\" data-end=\"258\">already registered in the A.I.R.E. within this Consular District before the implementation of the FAST IT system<\/strong>\u00a0<strong data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"308\">do not need to register again in the A.I.R.E.<\/strong><br data-start=\"308\" data-end=\"311\" \/>Instead, they must\u00a0<strong data-start=\"330\" data-end=\"385\">link their FAST IT account to their consular record<\/strong>\u00a0by following the steps below:<\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"419\" data-end=\"862\">\n<li data-start=\"419\" data-end=\"516\">\n<p data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"516\"><strong data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"434\">Register<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0<strong data-start=\"442\" data-end=\"460\">FAST IT portal<\/strong>, or\u00a0<strong data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"475\">log in<\/strong>\u00a0if you already have an active account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"631\">\n<p data-start=\"520\" data-end=\"631\">Select the option\u00a0<strong data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"578\">\u201cConsular Registration and A.I.R.E.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and then click on\u00a0<strong data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"628\">\u201cView your personal record\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"632\" data-end=\"743\">\n<p data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"743\">Request the\u00a0<strong data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"671\">\u201cOnline Association\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and wait to receive the\u00a0<strong data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"720\">confirmation message<\/strong>\u00a0in your email inbox.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"862\">\n<p data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"862\">Log in again to the\u00a0<strong data-start=\"767\" data-end=\"785\">FAST IT portal<\/strong>, view your personal record.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PRACTICAL INSTRUCTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Compila la richiesta sul\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/serviziconsolarionline.esteri.it\/ScoFE\/index.sco\">FAST IT<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After completing the required fields in the online form, you will also need to attach:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ANNEX<\/strong> <strong>A<\/strong> &#8211; Scanning of a document attesting the Italian nationality of each member of the family unit. Acceptable documents are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Valid Italian passport;<\/li>\n<li>Valid Italian identity card;<\/li>\n<li>Birth certificate already transcribed in the Comune;<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of Italian citizenship issued by the Italian municipality or an Italian representation abroad;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: You must include your spouse (wife, husband) or common-law partner in the AIRE application, even if you are a foreign national. In this case, a copy of the valid passport is required. For children not yet registered with the Italian Municipality, a copy of the passport is required.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ANNEX<\/strong> <strong>B<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0This is the scanned copy of the AIRE request form, completed online through the FAST IT portal. The form must be downloaded and signed before being submitted to the competent Consular Office.\u00a0<strong>Note:<\/strong> It is important that the request form, as well as the corresponding fields in the online form, specifies the exact municipality of reference. Furthermore, in the case of minor children, the form must be signed by both parents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ANNEX<\/strong> <strong>C<\/strong> &#8211; Scan of a utility bill (water, electricity, gas, TV\/internet, lease (notarial) or public deed) in the name of the applicant, indicating the full address of the domicile. Note: If the applicant lives in an apartment room, they must present a notarized letter from a notary office drawn up by the landlord, along with a utility bill to confirm such statement.\u00a0If the utility bill or the lease agreement is in the name of a family member residing at the same address, it will be necessary to submit a <strong data-start=\"187\" data-end=\"266\">notarized declaration made by the holder of the bill or the lease agreement<\/strong>, confirming the presence of the applicant at the above-mentioned address.\u00a0<strong>Please note that documentation other than that expressly requested will not be accepted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: the lack of one of the above requirements will be grounds for refusal of the AIRE registration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please note that the application for registration at A.I.R.E. will not be completed until the user receives an email confirming that the application for registration has been sent to the relevant Italian Mayor\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Completion of the Procedure<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please note that the communication received from the Consular Chancery regarding the application for registration with the AIRE <strong>does not mean that the registration procedure has been definitively completed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the application has been forwarded by the Consular Chancery, it is necessary to wait for the <strong>relevant Italian Comune (Municipality)<\/strong> to complete the registration procedure. Only after the Comune has finalized the procedure will the AIRE registration be updated and become visible in the citizen\u2019s personal account on the <strong>Fast It<\/strong> portal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During this waiting period, the citizen may still make use of the available consular services, <strong>except for those services for which the completion of the AIRE registration by the Comune is expressly required<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For example, in order to apply for the <strong>Electronic Identity Card (CIE)<\/strong> or to obtain certain <strong>certificates, such as a certificate of citizenship<\/strong>, the AIRE registration must already have been completed by the competent Italian Comune.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Citizens are therefore advised to check the status of their registration directly through their personal <strong>Fast It<\/strong> account and to wait for the Comune to complete the procedure before requesting services for which this requirement is necessary.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Remember<\/strong>! The site upload system rejects any attachments larger than 1.0 MB (or 1024KB). Moreover, it is not necessary to use the scanner to its full potential to obtain a digital version of the document to be sent. <strong>We recommend using the Edge browser (Internet Explorer)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Registration can also be carried out ex officio, following the booking of an appointment for \u201cconsular services\u201d through the Prenot@mi portal, with the applicant presenting themselves with all the documentation indicated above.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Registration and updating to the A.I.R.E.
