Interested entities (foreign and state-recognized private schools, managing/promoting bodies, school associations and non-profit organizations) are hereby informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) makes available grants aimed at promoting the Italian language and culture in foreign educational institutions through the provision of training and refresher courses for local teachers of Italian (NON-UNIVERSITY LEVEL).
Allocations will be made in accordance with the criteria established by Director’s Decree No. 4100/33 of 19 March 2025, attached hereto, which should be read carefully. Applications may be accepted for participation in refresher courses held in Italy or outside Panama.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING FOR THE GRANT
Grant applications, as provided for in Article 6 of Director’s Decree 0403/2025, must include the following documentation:
- LETTER FROM THE APPLICANT ENTITY: drawn up on the applicant’s official letterhead and containing a detailed justification of the request.
- APPLICATION FORM (ANNEX D): to be completed in Italian using the designated form, which must be filled in in all its parts.
- FINAL REPORT FORM ON THE LAST GRANT RECEIVED (ANNEX D/2): to be completed by all entities that have already benefited from grants, in order to report on the most recent contribution received.
Applicants must use exclusively the attached forms, which must be completed digitally without making any modifications to the text. The forms must bear the signature of the head of the applicant entity, the date, and the official stamp. Please note that a minimum of 10 participants in the courses is required in order to qualify for a ministerial grant.
Failure to comply with the required forms and the deadlines indicated in this notice will result in the inadmissibility of the grant application.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Applications, accompanied by the Letter, Form D and, where applicable, Form D/2, must be sent by email to this Embassy at the following address: comm.ambpanama@esteri.it no later than 5 May 2025.
