Registration and updating to the A.I.R.E. (Register of Italian Residents Abroad) are made directly on the portal “Fast It” Consular Services Online after registering at the following link: https://serviziconsolarionline.esteri.it
This system allows a simplified and faster registration to A.I.R.E., responding to the needs of Italians living abroad.
Please be careful to enter your data correctly during registration at Fast It and registration at A.I.R.E.In the personal data must be entered the names and surnames as they appear on your Italian document. The absence of some of the requirements as well as the omission of the information in the AIRE registration form could lead to the refusal of the AIRE application in the Fast IT system, All users are invited to read all the current legislation on AIRE registration published below:

Citizens already registered in a country other than Panama:
Those who have already joined the A.I.R.E. through the Fast It in a different constituency from that from Panama and want to transfer their residence A.I.R.E. in Panama, MUST create a new user on the Fast It Portal and make a new registration to the A.I.R.E.
Please note that after the submission of the application for registration, change of residence or display of profile A.I.R.E. the user will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of the request.
The request will be processed and as soon as it is concluded, the user will receive a confirmation e-mail from this Consular Chancellery.
IMPORTANT: Every Italian ADULT citizen can apply for AIRE registration for him and for children living together under the age of Italian citizenship. If, however, the registration of one of the members of the family whose civil status records (births of minor children) have not been previously recorded should also be required, it will be necessary to regularize the position in advance by following the instructions in the “Civil Status”

ANNEX A – Scanning of a document attesting the Italian nationality of each member of the family unit. Acceptable documents are:
- Valid Italian passport;
- Valid Italian identity card;
- Birth certificate already transcribed in the Comune;
- Certificate of Italian citizenship issued by the Italian municipality or an Italian representation abroad;
NOTE: You must include your spouse (wife, husband) or common-law partner in the AIRE application, even if you are a foreign national. In this case, a copy of the valid passport is required. For children not yet registered with the Italian Municipality, a copy of the passport is required.
ANNEX B – Scan of signed application form. Note: It is important that the application form, as well as the corresponding fields of the online form, specify the exact municipality of reference. In addition, if there are minor children, it is essential that the form be signed by both parents
ANNEX C – Scan of a utility bill (water, electricity, gas, TV/internet, lease (notarial) or public deed) in the name of the applicant, indicating the full address of the domicile. Note: If the applicant lives in an apartment room, they must present a notarized letter from a notary office drawn up by the landlord, along with a utility bill to confirm such statement. If the utility bill or the lease is made out to a member of the family living in the same household, you must submit a notarized letter from a notary office confirming the presence of the applicant at the household. Please note that no other documentation will be accepted.
Remember! The site upload system rejects any attachments larger than 1.0 MB (or 1024KB). Moreover, it is not necessary to use the scanner to its full potential to obtain a digital version of the document to be sent. We recommend using the Edge browser (Internet Explorer)
NOTE: the lack of one of the above requirements will be grounds for refusal of the AIRE registration.
We strongly advise you to use the “Fast-It” portal to register for the AIRE and to communicate the change of residence in Panama. Nevertheless, it is still possible to carry out these operations also through the following methods:

Important: for those who have submitted their birth certificate in another consular district different in Panama, only can use the consular services only after confirmation of registration by the municipality to which they belong.
NOTIFICATION OF THE CHANGE OF RESIDENCE WITHIN THE PANAMANIAN TERRITORY:
Italian citizens residing abroad have the obligation to keep their personal data updated, communicating without delay to the Consular Office any change of residence abroad.
Please note that failure to update the address information makes it impossible to contact the citizen and receive the postcard or the electoral envelope in case of votes.
Every Italian ADULT citizen can apply for a change of residence for him and for family members living together with Italian citizenship.
