University of Trento – Admission Calls for Scholarships (Academic Year 2026-2027)

The Embassy of Italy announces that the admission calls have been published for two Master’s Degree programs at the School of International Studies of the University of Trento: the Master’s Degree in International Security Studies (MISS), offered in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa, and the Master’s Degree in European and International Studies (MEIS). For both programs, all academic activities are conducted in English.

The admission calls for non-European candidates will remain open until March 4, 2026. For the 2026/2027 academic year, the University of Trento offers 2 scholarships for the MISS program and 2 scholarships for the MEIS program, each worth €7,200 per year. Additional tuition fee exemptions may be granted based on the score obtained in the admission ranking. There is also a specific funding opportunity for descendants of Trentino emigrants.

Subsequently, from April 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, a second call will be open for “European and equivalent” candidates (EU citizenship + Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Republic of San Marino, Vatican City State; non-EU citizenship but residing in Italy).
