By Consular Decree No. 14/2026, signed by the Head of Mission of the Embassy of Italy in Panama, elections have been called for the establishment and renewal of the Committee of Italians Abroad in Panama.
The election date has been set for 4 December 2026. This date corresponds to the final deadline for the envelope containing the completed ballot paper to be received by the relevant Consulate.
In order to take part in the election, voters must register on the electoral roll of their relevant Consulate by submitting the appropriate option request no later than 4 November 2026.
The Committee to be elected will consist of 12 members, based on the size of the resident Italian community. The aforementioned Decree also establishes the Electoral Office responsible for carrying out the electoral procedures.
