Nationals are informed that Trenitalia, in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), will offer a discount to Italians registered in the Register of Italian Residents Abroad (A.I.R.E.). The purpose of the discount is to offer Italian citizens living abroad travelling in Italy the possibility of purchasing Trenitalia-Frecciarossa train tickets with better conditions thanks to the following offers, valid until 31 December 2024:
- Extension of the offer «Speciale Eventi» with a specific code that allows to buy train tickets with a discount of 20% to 80%, according to conditions and availability;
- Travel arrangements for groups of at least 10 people on high-speed trains with discounts of up to 40 %;
Extension of the purchase of the «Trenitalia Pass» to Italians living abroad registered with the A.I.R.E.
The offers are valid until December 31, 2024 and allows you to buy train tickets with variable discount, on Business, Premium and Standard services on trains Frecciarossa, Frecciargento and Frecciabianca on the website www.trenitalia.com, in App Trenitalia, at the ticket offices and in the authorised travel agencies. When buying, choose “View more offers”, “Offer”, “Special events”. Enter the code “AIR” in the space “Agreement code” and confirm.
