The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) invites applications for the three prizes “Premio Farnesina – Italian bilateral scientific cooperation award”, “Premio Innovazione che parla italiano” and “Science, She Says!”.
1) “Farnesina Prize – Italian bilateral scientific cooperation award”: the prize, now in its eighth edition, is dedicated to senior and junior researchers distinguished abroad for high scientific merit; for this edition, the call is addressed to senior researchers. Applications will be examined by a Scientific Committee composed of representatives from MAECI and the MUR, the Presidents of major public research bodies and the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities (CRUI);
2) The “Innovation that speaks Italian” award: at its eighth edition, it is a recognition of the high innovative value of technological startups operating abroad and founded by Italian citizens. Applications will be reviewed by a Technical Committee coordinated by PNI Cube (association that brings together the incubators and the Italian academic “business plan competition”, created with the aim of stimulating the birth and accompanying new companies to the market high content of knowledge from university);
3) Science, she says!” The third edition will be awarded to five young foreign women under 40 from different geographical areas (Africa and the Middle East; Asia and the Pacific; Europe; Central and South America; North America).
The deadline for submitting applications is 28 February 2025.
