Discover “Italian Museums“, the application of the Ministry of Culture that provides users with information on the places of culture of the national museum system and allows the purchase of entrance tickets!
The application links information in English and Italian on 406 Italian museums and archaeological parks, geo-locating their position with respect to the visitor and giving access to a digital ticketing platform, without intermediation costs, made for those sites that did not offer this service until now.
Available for free on the main platforms, the instrument has been tested in the last year on a growing number of museums, starting from the start of ticketing for entry to the Pantheon and to date has been used to issue over 3 million tickets.
It will be progressively extended to all state public museums and made available for cultural sites administered by local authorities, universities, dioceses or privately owned, with the aim of making it the privileged portal to access the network of almost 4,900 Italian museums.
