We inform our kind users that starting from 16 December 2024 the booking of visa appointments will take place through the Prenot@mi portal.
Furthermore, in accordance with the provisions of art. 1, letter a.1, of Legislative Decree 145/24″, Starting from 11 January 2025, the acquisition of biometric data will be mandatory for all categories of national visa type ‘D’, relating to stays of more than 90 days provided for by current legislation.
Users residing in secondary accreditation countries who require a visa for Italy, from 16 December 2024 will also be required to book an appointment through the Prenot@mi portal and to present themselves in person at the offices of this Consular Section on the day of the appointment.
It is therefore recommended to ensure being in possession of all the appropriate and complete documentation to support your visa application for the day of the appointment.
