The Italian citizen will have to present the apostilled certificate of free state and birth, translated into Spanish, the translation of which has been legalised by the Panamanian Representation (Rome) or the Consulate General (Turin, Milan, Venice, Naples, Genoa, Civitavecchia) as conforming to the Italian text.
It is advisable to ask for confirmation of the documents to be presented also at the notary’s office where the marriage will be celebrated.
